The NSS unit organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with Jeevan Jyothi ITI and Uttara Kannada Blood bank, Kumta on 29.10.2024 at St. Ignatius Institute of Health Sciences. The chief guest of the programme was Dr. Narayan Mudlagiri, officer of the blood bank, guests were Bro. Antony Raj, director of Jeevan Jyothi ITI, Sr. Philippa, Administrator of St. Ignatius Hospital and Mr. Herrick Fernandes, HR, St. Ignatius Hospital. Sr. Diana, the Principal and Sr. Susai, Vice-Principal and the NSS Programme officer were present. Dr. Narayan addressed the gathering and spoke about the benefits of being a donor, its procedures and how it can save a life. Staff and students donated blood to support the event.
